indian cric.team in pakistan

We are in the land of the faithful, but chief curator agha zahid has been unabashedly pagan-like in his worship of the sun.
For the second day in a row,he gurgled with delight as the iqbal stadium was soaked under a bright, warm glow approaching Friday afternoon,”inshallah”,if the weather continues to be like this”,he said”this wicket will produce a result”.
In the context of the high-scoring at Lahore, and the plethora of draws played out here over the years,a result in the second test still seems difficult.
Batsmen from either side appear to be in top form, bowlers not quite so,unless,of course, this pitch has demons not quite evident so far.
Despite zahid’s optimism, experts here believe that there is very little time for the wicket to become firmer over the next 24 hours to offer help to bowlers. the sun has not been strong enough and wanes dramatically after 3 in noon. moreover the met office has forecasted a change in weather, predicting some rain and consequently more bad light.
